The Olympians Association of Jamaica, the OAJ, will be hosting an interactive LINK-UP on Thursday, June 4th 2020 from 4:00 - 5:00 PM EST (Jamaican time) via the Zoom platform courtesy of the PanAm Sports Organization. All athletes are invited to gain insights and inspiration to sharpen their competitive edge from Olympians and other experts in the Jamaican Olympic fraternity.

President of the OAJ, Marvin Anderson, is thrilled about the staging of this online event, which is a first of its kind, engaging simultaneously with Jamaican Olympians wherever they are in the world. He encourages all to join the conversation, share their stories and have their questions answered by the outstanding panelists: Olympians Alia Atkinson and Elaine Thompson-Herah, Coach Maurice Wilson and physiotherapist Dr. Jo Brown.

The discussions will centre on athlete’s individual experiences and the impact that the pandemic presents for team sports and individual preparation. This OAJ Link-Up represents the initiation of a series of events serving the needs of the sporting community both virtually and face-to-face.
